Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP has a strong governmental affairs practice on the local, state, and national level.  As one of the few firms with offices in the state capitals of Albany and Sacramento and in Washington, D.C., we maintain close contact with policymakers and staff, keep abreast of legislative negotiations on a daily (even hourly) basis, and respond quickly in the changing circumstances of the legislative and regulatory arenas.  The Albany office is strategically located near the State Capital, within walking distance to our constituencies.
