Ms. Hollander’s practice focuses on all aspects of intellectual property, including: Complex litigation in trademark and copyright infringement, unfair competition, and false advertising cases.
- Extensive experience practicing before the Patent and Trademark Office and the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board as well as district and appellate courts throughout the country.
Management of International and U.S. prosecution and maintenance of trademark applications and registrations for diverse industries.
- Negotiation of numerous trademark settlement agreements and license agreements.
Extensive enforcement efforts in protecting and policing intellectual property rights.
- Ms. Hollander has performed these services in a wide variety of areas, including technology and internet companies, renowned artists, food, wine, and apparel companies, state and local agencies, financial institutions, health care organizations and entertainment companies, as well as for individuals.
- Retained on behalf of the State of California to defend the Bureau of Automotive Repair in infringement action.
- Represented Napa and Sonoma Valley wineries in successful trademark infringement actions.
- Represented Xilinx, Inc. in trademark and trademark litigation matters.
- Extensive experience in overseeing trademark surveys on all issues relating to the defense of trademark rights.
- Lectured on trademark developments and trade dress issues.
- Responsible for numerous reported trademark decisions.
