Manatt to Co-Sponsor "Executive Briefing 2009: Rescues, Reforms and Recovery: Threats and Opportunities for Business"
On September 3, 2009 Manatt and the University of California (UCI) at Irvine School of Law will present "Executive Briefing 2009: Rescues, Reforms and Recovery: Threats and Opportunties for Business". The event will be held on the UCI campus at the University Club and proceeds will benefit the UCI School of Law.
The program will explore the immediate and long-term prospects for, and ramifications of, the evolving federal stimulus policy in three areas:
- Finance: Energizing business - reviving the financial sector
- Healthcare: Lowering healthcare costs while expanding insurance coverage
- Energy: Doing well by doing right by the environment
Experts representing government, academia, and the private sector will share their perspectives and insights regarding the likely effects of the changes in federal policy, presented in a series of panels and discussion forums.
