Lisa Kolieb’s practice focuses on land use and real estate development matters, governmental and administrative law, as well as other matters involving local and state administration and legislative decision making. Her experience includes preparing initial entitlement applications on behalf of commercial property owners, developers of for-rent and for-sale residential projects, and academic institutions, as well as written submissions and oral presentations to planning commissions, city councils and other governmental agencies. Ms. Kolieb’s experience also includes substantial work with the California Environmental Quality Act, the Subdivision Map Act and the Public Records Act. She has also assisted with land-use due diligence evaluations, condominium conversions, alcohol licensing, and environmental compliance and permitting. Her experience also includes providing political and public relations assistance to both private sector and public sector clients.
Prior to joining Manatt, Ms. Kolieb spent several years working as a corporate transactional attorney. During her academic career, she worked in the not-for-profit sector and as Deputy Press Assistant to Special Counsel to the President of the United States. She also has campaign experience at the local and national levels.
