    Profile

    Marc Luesebrink is of counsel in the Land, Environment & Natural Resources Division in the Los Angeles office.  Mr. Luesebrink has extensive experience advising both private industry and public sector clients on environmental matters, including compliance with the Clean Air Act, California air district rules, AB 32 climate change regulations, CERCLA, California water quality regulations, RCRA and California equivalent, the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), and the Coastal Act.  This experience includes representation of clients before local, regional, state, and federal agencies.  Mr. Luesebrink also advises clients on responding to environmental enforcement actions and provides legal guidance on compliance with Cal OSHA regulations.

    Prior to joining Manatt, Mr. Luesebrink worked as Senior Attorney for Southern California Edison Co., advising SCE business units on various environmental matters.  He also served as Deputy Attorney General in the Office of the California Attorney General where he litigated environmental cases and provided legal guidance on environmental matters.  Prior to becoming a lawyer, Mr. Luesebrink served as a Policy Assistant at the California Natural Resources Agency, where he worked on statewide water resource, energy, and land use issues.
