Professional Experience
Masood Sohaili is a corporate lawyer in the firm’s Los Angeles office and has worked on a wide variety of corporate, finance and restructuring transactions. He has:
- Advised public and private corporate clients in connection with strategic initiatives, including restructurings, mergers, dispositions and acquisitions.
- Served as issuers’ counsel, underwriters’ counsel, and developers’ counsel in connection with the issuance and sale of public securities and private placements to fund various projects, including healthcare, housing and infrastructure facilities.
- Participated in the financing, refinancing and restructuring of numerous general government, healthcare, affordable housing and infrastructure transactions.
- Structured and negotiated infrastructure and development projects involving public and private participation, representing lenders, underwriters, developers and issuers.
- Represented borrowers in over $2,000,000,000 of financings for healthcare systems, and served as issuers counsel in connection with numerous financings for healthcare systems.
- Represented credit enhancers in connection with the credit enhancement of public debt securities issued to finance infrastructure, healthcare and affordable housing transactions.
- Represented issuers, bondholders and lenders in connection with the restructuring of bond obligations involving infrastructure and housing facilities.
