Professional Experience
Mr. Shah is an associate in the Litigation group of the firm’s New York Office. He is a commercial litigator with experience in a broad range of civil matters, including trademark and patent infringement matters, class actions, mass torts and restructuring proceedings. His recent experience includes:
- Defending an innovative online music distribution company against claims of trademark infringement under the Lanham Act.
- Representing a large pharmaceutical company in a False Claims Act whistleblower action.
- Representing Fortune 100 manufacturer in a patent infringement suit related to security systems technology.
- Representing a direct marketing firm in relation to a Federal Trade Commission investigation of alleged false advertising.
- Defending a prominent medical research firm against a competitor’s trade secrets misappropriation claims.
Prior to joining Manatt, Mr. Shah was a litigation associate in the New York office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP.
