Robert Eller is one of the leading real estate practitioners in California. Mr. Eller represents financial institutions and other institutional investors and funds, as well as entrepreneurs and developers in real estate lending, investments, acquisitions, sales and exchanges, development, entitlements and zoning, construction activities, joint ventures, and leasing and management transactions.
Mr. Eller documents acquisitions, sales, ground-leases, sales-lease backs, commercial-leases, construction contracts, interim (construction and bridge), permanent, mezzanine, participating, various firms of highly leveraged financing and other structured financing, including intercreditor agreements among agent and co-lending institutions. He also represents developers and investors in the acquisition, entitlement, (including negotiations with redevelopment and other governmental agencies), construction, development, management, leasing and/or disposition of landmark and other real property projects in California. In addition, Mr. Eller documents real estate and whole loan pool acquisitions.
Mr. Eller served as a member of the Executive Committee of the Real Estate Section of the State Bar of California (Vice Chair) and the Executive Committee of the Real Estate Section of the Los Angeles County Bar Association.
Before joining Manatt, Mr. Eller was managing partner of the Los Angeles office of a prestigious firm and, prior to that, a senior real estate and managing partner at another prominent, full-service firm.
