He has handled and successfully closed in excess of 100 merger and acquisition transactions, ranging in individual transaction value from several million to several billion dollars, and is active in the representation of clients in the purchase and sale of virtually all types of businesses. Coupled with his M&A expertise, Mr. Lochner advises corporate clients and their boards of directors regarding business strategy, corporate governance, corporate finance and various other matters pertinent to their day-to-day legal requirements. He advises numerous start-up companies in addition to many mature and well-capitalized companies and assists clients in raising capital, making capital investments, and in structuring and forming joint ventures, both domestic and international. In addition, Mr. Lochner advises clients on technology commercialization, matters relating to websites and the internet, and in the use of intellectual property and contract law to protect and promote well-known product brands as well as to build new ones.
