Deborah Bachrach returned to Manatt after five years of service as the Medicaid Director and Deputy Commissioner of Health for the New York State Department of Health Insurance Programs. Under Deborah’s leadership, New York State revamped its Medicaid program and instituted a broad range of landmark reforms. Her public-sector work earned Deborah numerous distinctions, including several industry awards. Now, as special counsel, Deborah’s 20-year health policy experience adds even more depth to Manatt’s New York practice, providing clients with insider understanding of federal and Medicaid reform. Prior to government service, Deborah was a Manatt partner from 1992 to 2006.
