Rim, Grossman to Speak at Annual National Institute on White Collar Crime Conference

Trial, White Collar and Investigations Leader Naeun Rim and San Diego Office Partner Randy Grossman will participate  at the 39th Annual National Institute on White Collar Crime conference in San Francisco, California on March 6, 2024.

Rim’s panel titled “Trial Skills: Winning Trials Through Witness Examination” will explore the ways trials can be won through skillful witness examinations. She and her co-panelists will examine strategies for crafting and organizing direct and cross examination questions, preparing witnesses, and the key considerations when making the decision to put clients on the stand.

Grossman’s panel titled “Significant Legal Developments in the Western Region: Business Law” will discuss new developments and trends in the western region of the United States to better inform attorneys of strategies and arguments used in litigating white collar cases.

Since its establishment in 1987, the Institute has been attended by leading federal and state judges and prosecutors, law enforcement officials, defense attorneys, corporate in-house counsel, and members of the academic community. It provides attendees with the latest information and CLE from leading lights of the White Collar Crime arena as well as networking opportunities to connect with colleagues in the space.
