Manatt is proud to join the U.S Department of Commerce’s newly launched AI Safety Institute Consortium (AISIC), joining more than 200 of the country’s largest and most innovative companies and organizations dedicated to supporting the development and deployment of safe and trustworthy artificial intelligence (AI).
The Consortium, which will support the U.S. AI Safety Institute at the National Institute of Standards and Technology, brings together AI creators and users, academics, government and industry researchers, and civil society organizations to develop science-based and empirically backed guidelines and standards for AI measurement and policy. The Consortium will ultimately help prepare the U.S. and like-minded nations to address the capabilities of the next generation of AI models, systems and applications and provide appropriate risk management strategies.
