Manatt’s Ileana Hernandez Named To 100 Most Influential Hispanics List
LOS ANGELES, October 18, 2007 - Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP, the national law and consulting firm, announced today that firm partner Ileana Hernandez was named as one of the 100 Most Influential Hispanics by Hispanic Business magazine. Ms. Hernandez, a general business and commercial litigator, was also recently appointed to the Board of Trustees for the Hispanic College Fund.

Ms. Hernandez, a member of Manatt’s Litigation Division, is also very active in the firm’s pro bono program. She has represented Spanish-speaking families in adoption and guardianship cases, children seeking asylum in the United States, and battered women seeking permanent resident status. Prior to joining Manatt, Ms. Hernandez served as a judicial extern to District Court Judge Audrey B. Collins in the Central District of California.

Ms. Hernandez received her B.A., summa cum laude, from the University of California, Los Angeles, in 1995 and her J.D. from the University of Southern California in 1998.
