Conner Will Provide Guidance for Global Leaders and Brands and Enhance Thought Leadership at the Research and Policy Institute
Manatt Digital Media, a full-service digital media division within Manatt, today announced that Lindsay Conner, partner and co-chair of Entertainment & Media practice, has joined the board of governors for the University of Southern California (USC) Annenberg Center for the Digital Future, a research and policy institute within the USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism. In this role, Conner will seek to further extend the center's thought leadership in the digital space by providing guidance for global corporations, governments and policy makers in addressing the digital future.

As the sole attorney on the center's board of governors, Conner brings a unique perspective developed from having spent his entire legal career in the entertainment and media industries. Conner joins an impressive roster of influential business leaders on the board of governors, including Wasserman Media Group Chairman and CEO Casey Wasserman and Sony Pictures Television President of Worldwide Networks Andrew Kaplan, among others.

Named to Variety's prestigious list of "50 Game-Changing Attorneys" in 2012, Conner represents film, television and new media clients; financial institutions; and private equity funds at Manatt Digital Media. He has served as chief outside entertainment counsel for several major film studios and television networks, as well as numerous film, television, and digital production and distribution companies. Conner has also served as lead counsel in several large financing, distribution and mergers-and-acquisitions transactions for one of America's largest financial institutions and a major Wall Street hedge fund.
