Politico Pro interviewed Manatt's Joel Ario, a managing director with Manatt Health Solutions, for an article on the U.S. Supreme Court's decision to uphold Obamacare subsidies. The court's decision sidesteps a crisis at the state level and puts the focus back on the stalled push to get more states to expand Medicaid.
"I hope it's the start of a more sober period where states can get rid of some of this anti-ACA sentiment and look with more clear eyes at their options," said Ario. The court ruling created a "big security blanket for the states who can focus on improving their markets," he added.
