Manatt Health Leader Bill Bernstein was named to the 2022 List of Distinguished Leaders by New York Law Journal for his involvement in bringing health care services to underserved communities, the representation of the NYC Safety Net Coalition and the establishment of the Primary Care Development Corporation, among others.
Notably, Bernstein was recognized for cofounding the NYC COVID Rapid Response Coalition, which brought together a team of more than 75 health care leaders in New York to bring help to the city’s disadvantaged and medically vulnerable communities.
In his profile, Bill was quoted on his advice for the next generation of lawyer, saying, “I think the key is identifying what issue you are passionate about and developing expertise in that area. I also think finding mentors who share your interest is important, especially early in your career, as those relationships can create opportunities to make a difference in your area of interest.”
