Smith to Co-Chair UCLA Extension’s Land Use Law and Planning Conference

Manatt Land Use partner David Smith is co-chairing UCLA Extension’s 36th annual Land Use Law and Planning Conference, which will be held on January 21. David will also speak in a “quick hits” session about recent policy updates and moderate a panel discussion titled “Beyond ADUs: How Do We Deliver Meaningful Housing Supplies Throughout California?”

The Land Use Law and Planning Conference is the leading source of information on California land use legislation, case law and the emerging issues that frame land use and development practices in the nation’s most populous state. The program’s cross-disciplinary approach explores the full range of perspectives drawn from the land use planning, legal, development and environmental communities. Participants can attend the conference virtually or in person at the Omni Los Angeles Hotel in downtown L.A.
