Manatt Health Managing Director Joel Ario will speak in a session titled “Health Insurance Reforms and Affordability” at the National Conference of State Legislatures’ (NCSL) State Policy Seminar: Levers to Address Health Costs.

The conference, which will be held in Denver, Colorado, brings legislative leaders together to learn and strategize about addressing health care costs. Joel’s session will provide an overview of states’ roles in health plan regulation and coverage initiatives addressing individual and small group marketplaces, rate reviews, public option programs, and surprise billing.
