Eased Capital-Raising Rules Won't Crowd out PE Firms
– The Deal

The Deal interviewed Manatt's Brian Korn, a partner in the firm's Capital Markets practice, for an article on the possible effects that the SEC's recently relaxed crowdfunding rules could have on deal flow.

As reported by The Deal, the private equity community fears the relaxed rules may spark increased competition for deal flow.

"I don't think there's anything for private equity to worry about from Title III," said Korn, referring to the SEC's recently promulgated rules governing crowdfunding.
