The Financial Times interviewed Manatt's Brian Korn, a partner in the firm's Capital Markets practice, for an article about Goldman Sachs partner Harit Talwar's venture into online lending. The effort, known internally as "Mosaic," has driven a series of high-level hires from the financial industry.
For now, the online-lending industry as a whole is "somewhat skeptical" that a big bank such as Goldman can be as "nimble" as the leaders, said Korn.
