Manatt’s John Gatti, co-chair of the firm’s entertainment, media and sports litigation practice, was interviewed by the Hollywood Reporter on the augmented reality (AR) company Magic Leap.
The publication reviewed the notable investments the AR company received, the $2,295 headset it created for professional content makers and the competition it faces against cash-rich technology titans such as Google and Apple.
“The Magic Leap One is very expensive,” said Gatti. “As soon as they get some compelling content, Magic Leap can establish itself as a destination where consumers want to go.”
