The publication noted newly seated Supreme Court Associate Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation process furthered tension among Senate Democrats and Republicans. Nunziata provided insight into the current climate of the Senate and shared ways both parties could work together to lessen tensions.
“I think the reasons we fight so much about the Supreme Court are probably still there,” said Nunziata. “We could start a conversation in the public and in the Senate on what a fair process looks like.”
