Manatt’s Robert Jacobs, a partner in the firm’s entertainment, sports and media litigation practice, was interviewed by the Daily Journal for an article on WarnerMedia’s new policy.

The studio announced a new policy of diversity and inclusion both in front of and behind the camera for all future projects. While some observers express skepticism about this policy becoming a reality, the publication noted that onlookers feel an overall sense of hope from the studio’s move to take accountability.

“My sense is that it’s good business. It sends the right message to the community about their stance, that they’re putting their foot down and that this is what they care about. It isn’t just verbiage. It’s actual form language,” said Jacobs.
