Nathaniel Cohen is an associate in the healthcare litigation practice, and is based in the firm’s San Francisco office.
Before joining Manatt, Nathaniel worked as a senior attorney for the information law team in the Office of the General Counsel at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. His work included advising senior officials in connection with matters pertaining to the department’s collection, use, protection, and disclosure of records, data and other information. He also collaborated with U.S. Department of Justice attorneys and others in the development and execution of litigation strategies in federal court litigation.
Nathaniel has also worked as a presidential management fellow in the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services; as a special assistant U.S. attorney in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Maryland; and as a law clerk at a labor and employee benefits-focused law firm in San Francisco.
