Reid Davis is a litigation associate in the Los Angeles
office. His practice includes all aspects of general business and
commercial litigation, with an emphasis on the areas of employment and real
estate. Mr. Davis has defended employers in matters ranging from single
plaintiff claims to large wage and hour class actions. He has also had the
rare experience of going to trial on, and prevailing against, a representative
action brought under the Private Attorney General Act (“PAGA”). In
addition to his employment defense background, Mr. Davis has prosecuted and
defended a variety of real estate matters, including partition actions, title
insurance disputes, commission disputes, condominium conversion disputes, and
actions to enforce covenants and easements.
Across practice groups, Mr. Davis is knowledgeable in all facets
of litigation, including successfully litigating jury trials, bench trials, and
arbitrations, managing large-scale discovery, drafting case dispositive
motions, and participating in mediations.
While in law school, Mr. Davis externed for the Honorable Judge
George Wu of the Central District of California, which involved work on civil
and criminal trials. Mr. Davis also served as the submissions editor for the UCLA Entertainment Law Review and as the
Executive Director of the UCLA Sports Law Federation.
