Hilary Soloff is an associate in the firm’s San Francisco office. She represents clients in a wide variety of complex commercial litigation matters.
Hilary has experience representing clients in Department of Justice, Antitrust Division (DOJ) cartel investigations. Specifically, Hilary’s work includes analyzing documents for production to the DOJ; preparing partners for, attending and drafting summaries of witness interviews; and conducting pricing studies related to the markets under investigation by the DOJ.
Hilary also provides counseling to healthcare and technology companies seeking merger clearance from domestic and foreign competition agencies. As part of this work, Hilary attends and drafts summaries of product market witness interviews, works with economists to draft white papers and other advocacy materials for submission to regulators, and helps clients prepare filings under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Act and respond to Second Requests.
Hilary’s civil non-merger antitrust compliance and litigation experience includes assisting a major U.S. bank in creating an antitrust compliance program, and defending companies in federal court against both price-fixing and monopolization claims by their competitors.
Before joining Manatt, Hilary worked as an associate for a large international law firm in San Francisco, where she represented clients in many industries, including healthcare, technology, transportation and banking.
