Land use partner Susan Hori and associate Jennifer Lynch authored an article for Daily Journal on California’s Housing Crisis Act of 2019 (Senate Bill 330), which went into effect on January 1, 2020. In the article, Hori and Lynch discuss how this complex new law will significantly change how housing development projects are processed, reviewed and entitled in California, saying it “will substantially limit the ability of California cities and counties to disapprove certain housing projects.”
