Power Lawyers 2015: Hollywood's Top 100 Attorneys Revealed
– The Hollywood Reporter

Manatt senior partner L. Lee Phillips and partners Lindsay Conner and John Gatti have been recognized by The Hollywood Reporter as three of the entertainment industry's most powerful lawyers. The publication's 2015 "Power Lawyers" list features the 100 attorneys who the biggest stars and highest-ranking entertainment executives turn to for legal counseling, litigating and dealmaking.

In its profile of Phillips, The Hollywood Reporter notes that some of Phillips' clients include Brian Wilson, Barbra Streisand, and The Eagles. "They keep me very busy," he said.

For Conner, The Hollywood Reporter recognized his work handling one of the biggest deals of 2015 to date: a three-year pact between Robert Simonds' STX Entertainment and China's Huayi Brothers Media Corp. Conner also helped Sony seal a $200 million co-financing slate deal with Lone Star Capital and Citibank.

The Hollywood Reporter describes Gatti as one of the top copyright lawyers in Hollywood. He represents Alcon Entertainment against the theatrical production Point Break Live and CBS over copyright claims against the Hawaii Five-O theme song. He's also helping to protect the owners of the Batman film rights as the Caped Crusader gets set to appear in upcoming Justice League and Lego movies.
