Clay Recognized by Western Center on Law & Poverty for Pro Bono Work

Manatt legislative & regulatory advisor Delilah Clay was recognized by Western Center on Law & Poverty with its 2020 Fair Shake award. Clay was recognized for her pro bono contributions to making important new laws that will improve opportunities and lives of low-income California. In particular, she was selected for recognition based on her work helping pass SB 606 to create a floor for consumer debt bank levies, and for the important role that she played in crafting the language in the CROWN Act, which made California the first state ever to ban hair discrimination.
