Six Manatt Professionals Named to Law360’s 2022 Editorial Advisory Boards

Law360 has selected Manatt Partners Sirena Castillo, Anita Famili, Jeff Mannisto, Scott Pearson, Matt Reece and Prana Topper to be members of its 2022 Access to Justice, Cannabis, Tax Authority Federal, Banking, Sports & Betting and Trials Editorial Advisory Boards, respectively.  

Partner and Director of Pro Bono Sirena Castillo was selected for the Access To Justice Editorial Advisory Board for her work managing Manatt’s pro bono matters and community partnerships nationwide, as well as for her own pro bono cases focused on immigration matters, including individuals seeking humanitarian relief, class actions and amicus briefs. 

Leader of Manatt’s Cannabis and CBD, and the Firm’s Real Estate Transactions and Finance practices Anita Famili was named to the Cannabis Editorial Advisory Board for her work as the go-to counsel for companies and individuals operating in the cannabis and CBD industries and for her contributions in helping to create the standards for how cannabis deals are done in the United States. 

Leader of Manatt Tax, Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation practice Jeff Mannisto was chosen for the Tax Authority Federal Editorial Advisory Board for his work on corporate, partnership and individual income tax, including choice of entity considerations, mergers and acquisitions, and transactional matters, including tax-deferred exchanges, incentive compensation, employment tax issues, tax ruling requests and tax controversies. 

Partner and Leader of Manatt’s Consumer Financial Services practice Scott Pearson was picked for the Banking Editorial Advisory Board for his work on the defense of significant regulatory enforcement matters and consumer class actions, as well as regulatory compliance counseling. 

Manatt Digital and Technology Counsel and Director Matt Reece was selected for the Sports & Betting Editorial Advisory Board for bringing a mix of legal and business advisory experience to help brands, colleges and athletes navigate NIL laws. 

Manatt Litigation Partner Prana Topper was named to the Trials Editorial Advisory Board for her experience in entertainment and complex business litigation representing clients in matters such as contractual disputes, royalty claims, copyright law, business torts, employment matters, class actions and securities law.
