Hull Street Energy Closes Acquisition of U.S. Hydroelectric Assets From Carlyle

M&A Navigator covered Manatt’s representation of Hull Street Energy in its acquisition of ownership interests in Nautilus Hydro, LLC from funds managed by affiliates of U.S.-based alternative asset manager The Carlyle Group. The Manatt deal team was led by Alan Noskow, a partner in the firm’s corporate and finance practice, and included partner Brian Ashin and associates Suwani Karki and Agata Troy.
As M&A Navigator reports, private equity firm Hull Street Energy has acquired 100 percent of the ownership interests. As a result, the firm has now added approximately 18mw of long-lived, renewable generation assets to its New England portfolio. Collectively, Hull Street portfolio companies now own and operate approximately 465mw of strategically positioned generation assets located in Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New Jersey and Montana.
