USA Today is repackaging video to create streaming series

Manatt Digital and Technology partner Ned Sherman spoke with Digiday about USA Today’s move to distribute more of its content on ad supported streaming platforms, such as Roku, Xumo and Tivo Plus. In the article, Sherman notes that streaming platforms value content creation partners with established fan bases, saying, “What the services are looking for are safe bets when they acquire content. They want content that already has a fan base, already has data behind it that proves it will be a good bet.”
