Nioura F. Ghazni is a senior corporate associate in the firm’s San Francisco office. She focuses her practice on corporate counseling and represents private equity, venture capital, growth funds and other investors, as well as private companies, in many areas, including corporate and securities law, venture capital financings, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and technology licensing. A significant portion of Nioura’s practice is focused in healthcare and digital health. Nioura serves as corporate counsel to one of the largest non-profit health plans in the United States, where she advises on strategic healthcare transactions and commercial, license and services agreements.
Nioura has also represented cannabis businesses on business transaction matters, corporate structuring, joint ventures and other strategic partnerships.
In feedback shared with Legal 500, a client testimonial referenced Nioura’s “unparalleled” professionalism, noting that it “often felt like [they] were working with a core team member, rather than just ‘outside counsel.’” The client recommended her “first and foremost, without question.”
Before joining Manatt, Nioura was a corporate associate at a boutique business law firm, where she advised private companies on mergers and acquisitions and venture capital financings. Before that, she was in-house counsel at an emerging healthcare startup in Silicon Valley, where she provided corporate legal services and led the business development group.
