Rustin Brown is a venture capital and emerging companies partner in Manatt’s Washington, D.C., office. Rustin represents entrepreneurs and investors at all stages of companies’ life cycles.
With a passion for advising startups founded by women and people of color on securing funding and growing their businesses, Rustin focuses on improving diversity, equity and inclusion across the industry as a whole and within the organizations he represents. Rustin also serves on the board of 1863 Ventures, a D.C.-based nonprofit whose mission is to create $100 billion of new wealth for women and people of color entrepreneurs by 2030.
Prior to joining Manatt, Rustin was partner at a large international law firm, and has almost a decade of experience at national and international firms. Rustin began his career at the Advisory Board Company.
