Manatt Represents Pophouse Entertainment in Majority Stake Buy of Cyndi Lauper's Music Rights

A Manatt team led by Entertainment Partners Jordan Bromley, Beau Stapleton and Sophia K. Yen, along with Tax Partner Jeffrey A. Mannisto, represented Pophouse Entertainment in their acquisition and financing of a majority share in the publishing and royalties of American singer, songwriter, actress and activist Cyndi Lauper's recorded music. Lauper has sold over 50 million records globally. Some of her most famous songs include "Girls Just Want to Have Fun" and "True Colors." She has also written songs such as "Time After Time" and "She Bop," which became some of her biggest hits. Pophouse Entertainment will oversee the collection of recorded music and devise creative methods to showcase Lauper's music to both existing and younger fans through innovative performances.

Pophouse Entertainment is a private entertainment company located in Stockholm, Sweden. They focus on creating, acquiring and developing brands in various fields like music, podcasting, stage performances and gaming. Pophouse is known for their innovative approach in enhancing the value of their rights acquisitions through creative productions and installations.
