    Jared Augenstein is a manager of Manatt Health, an interdisciplinary policy and business advisory division of Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP.  He provides research, policy analysis, project support and strategic business services to healthcare providers, payers, pharmaceutical manufacturers and other healthcare organizations.  Mr. Augenstein's primary areas of focus are advising public- and private-sector clients on federal-state collaborative health initiatives, health information technology, federal and state health policy trends and provider markets. 

    Prior to joining Manatt Health, Mr. Augenstein was an analyst with Analysis Group, where he was responsible for market research and analysis to support the development of business plans targeting new and existing drug interventions for leading pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies.  His work included assessing the market potential for opportunities associated with palliative care.  Mr. Augenstein previously worked at the Results for Development Institute, where he assisted in the design of a cost-benefit model for estimating the value of investments in an AIDS vaccine and performed global vaccine pricing analyses.
