Sara Atsbaha is a land use associate in the firm’s Los Angeles office. She focuses her practice on policy and regulatory challenges related to California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) compliance and litigation, advising private and public stakeholders on regulatory impacts for proposed public land use and infrastructure development projects.
Before joining Manatt, Sara worked as an associate for a Los Angeles-based Am Law 100 firm. As a member of the real estate, land use and environment practice, she advised and represented private developers and public agencies on CEQA requirements, including defending land developers in regard to CEQA violations and advising public entities on matters related to the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act, as well as the Clean Water Act.
Sara also served as a law fellow for the Land and Wildlife Division of the Natural Resources Defense Council.
