Health Care Litigation Practice Leader Ileana Hernandez was named to the Los Angeles Business Journal’s 2023 Women of Influence: Health Care list, which honors contributions to the health and wellness of the Los Angeles community as a whole.
Hernandez’s profile highlighted her work guiding clients through every stage of litigation in state, federal and appellate courts, as well as in mediations, arbitrations and administrative hearings. The profile also mentioned her successful defense of Health Net from an eight-figure lawsuit brought by a group of out-of-network substance abuse treatment facilities that claimed Health Net denied and underpaid them for services rendered in certain claims.
