Manatt Investigations, Compliance and White Collar Defense Partner Naeun Rim will be one of five honorees at the National Lawyers Guild of Los Angeles’ 2022 Awards Gala on Sunday, December 4.
Noted for her years of work dedicated to pro bono work and civil rights cases, Rim’s profile highlights her time as a public interest lawyer at the Federal Defender’s Office of Los Angeles and Public Counsel as well as the pro bono work she does at Manatt in partnership with organizations like the ACLU of Southern California and the Prison Law Office.
Other honorees this year will include:
- Mike Bonin, Councilmember for the 11th District of the City of Los Angeles
- Nana Gyamfi, the Executive Director of Black Alliance for Just Immigration (BAJI)
- Community Power Collective, emerging, member-led organization that has helped advance housing and street vendor justice since its founding in 2020
- Melinda Bird, an attorney who has led and won complex class actions on behalf of people who are poor and disenfranchised.
