Augenstein to Moderate Session on Digitally Enabled Care at HLTH 2022

Manatt Health Director Jared Augenstein will serve as a moderator for a panel session titled “AMA Panel: Closing the Digital Health Disconnect: A Blueprint for Optimizing Digitally Enabled Care” at HLTH 2022 in Las Vegas on November 15. The panelists are industry leaders in advancing digital health care: Alyssa Jaffee, M.B.A., from 7wireVentures; Parinda Khatri, Ph.D., from Cherokee Health Systems; Meg Barron, M.B.A., from the American Medical Association (AMA); Andrew Diamond, M.D., Ph.D., from One Medical; and Sameer Berry, M.D., M.B.A., from New York Gastroenterology Associates and Oshi Health.

The session—jointly developed by the AMA and Manatt Health—will cover the latest research and initiatives surrounding the “digital health disconnect,” the chasm between the theoretical potential that digitally enabled care models promise with the reality of “parallel” care that predominates today. The panelists will discuss how digital health tools can effectively augment and enhance in-person care through equitably designed and thoughtfully integrated strategies. They will provide their insights, experiences and ideas for how to address the digital health disconnect and improve the future of health.

HLTH brings together a community of leaders, innovators and pioneers of the health industry that spans the entire health ecosystem to discuss the trends and strategies needed to create health care’s future. HLTH 2022 aims to solve health care’s most pressing problems and realize the most promising opportunities to develop health care’s future, creating a unique marketplace for the health community to lead the dialogue and development of a better health ecosystem.
