Manatt Health managing director Brenda Pawlak spoke with HealthLeaders about the Supreme Court’s pivotal California v. Texas case, and how its decision might impact hospitals and health systems. In the article, Pawlak said that if the law is overturned, there could be “serious ramifications not only for patients but hospitals as well.” In particular, she noted that the potential lack of health coverage for patients who receive insurance through the Affordable Car Act could impact hospitals financially.
