Albert Tagliaferri represents private equity firms, financial institutions, investment banks and individuals in complex commercial litigation, securities litigation and government and internal investigations.

Albert’s experience includes representing clients in shareholder class actions and derivative matters, contractual disputes and regulatory and enforcement proceedings. His practice spans all phases of litigation and investigations, including legal research, motion practice, discovery and trial preparation. He drafts pleadings and briefs in federal and state court, manages large‑scale and cross‑border discovery and assists with dispositive and class certification motions.

Albert also regularly advises clients in connection with government and internal investigations and regulatory inquiries. He conducts internal fact development, prepares witnesses for depositions, arbitrations and government interviews and supports clients in interactions with federal regulators and enforcement authorities, including the SEC, DOJ, CFTC and Treasury.
