Amil Malik is an associate in the Firm’s Washington D.C. office.
He advises clients on transactional and regulatory matters involving digital assets, blockchain, cryptocurrency, tokenization and emerging financial technologies. His practice focuses on helping companies navigate the legal and business considerations associated with innovative financial products, securities offerings and strategic transactions.
Amil helps clients with securities law and regulatory issues affecting digital asset products, including token offerings, staking programs and tokenized assets. He supports private placements and venture financings and advises on the application of federal securities and commodities laws to evolving business models. His work also includes transactional due diligence, regulatory analysis, compliance matters and the preparation of client guidance on significant legal and market developments. In addition, he contributes to publications addressing developments in digital assets and market structure.
