Bach and Jacobs Named to Daily Journal’s Top Intellectual Property Lawyers 2025 List

Manatt Entertainment Partner  and Entertainment Litigation Leader  were recognized on Daily Journal’s 2025 Top Intellectual Property Lawyers list.  

With nearly 20 years of experience litigating intellectual property litigation at the intersection of law and entertainment, Bach was highlighted for his significant victory representing Megan Roup and The Sculpt Society against Tracy Anderson's companies in a copyright case. He also successfully defended the European Climate Foundation in a high-profile Computer Fraud and Abuse Act case. 

Having over 25 years of experience in intellectual property law, particularly for protecting the rights of artists and creators, Jacobs was recognized for serving as lead counsel for the White Stripes in a copyright infringement case for one of their most popular songs, his representation of Alan Ett in a copyright ownership battle, and his handling of ongoing settlement negotiations for the Pop Smoke Estate.
