Job Description

We are looking for an attorney with three to six years of corporate transactional experience in the entertainment business to join our growing team. Entertainment experience and catalog sale/acquisition experience is preferred. This is a unique hybrid opportunity to work on sophisticated entertainment financing and corporate transactions as well as day-to-day talent and production matters involved in the creation and distribution of intellectual property. We are seeking someone who can think critically, is willing to work hard, learn, grow, and contribute and problem-solve creatively. What You’ll Do

  • Draft, manage and negotiate high value agreements in music and other intellectual property

  • Work in teams with other associates, partners, consultants and professionals

  • Further develop critical thinking and strategy in the world of intellectual property

  • Participate in sophisticated corporate and financing transactions focused in the ever-evolving entertainment space

Whom We’d Like to Meet

  • Someone with three to six years of experience in the entertainment business or one of its adjacent fields (for example, corporate M+A work or intellectual property development or enforcement)

  • Someone who takes initiative and says “I can do that” when presented with an opportunity or an obstacle to overcome

  • Someone with catalog sale and acquisition experience (preferred)

  • Someone who has the courage to collaborate

  • Someone who is motivated by excellence and to be excellent

  • Someone who is organized, capable of managing and progressing scores of matters simultaneously, and with strong management capabilities

  • Someone with Bar membership in good standing in the jurisdiction in which you plan to practice

Salary

The base annual pay range for this role is between $170,000 - $230,000. The base pay to be offered will vary and depend on skills and qualifications, experience, location and will also take into account internal equity.  Additional medical, financial and/or other benefits will be offered dependent on the position.
