The Senior Coordinator leads full-cycle recruiting for experienced lateral associates and partners. Focused exclusively on the experienced attorney market, this role manages senior-level candidate pipelines that support the strategic growth goals of the firm’s practice groups. The Senior Coordinator serves as a liaison among firm leadership, practice group chairs, candidates, and external search firms, balancing administrative execution with strategic planning.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the Director of Strategic Growth (Legal), Strategic Growth Managers, Practice Group Leaders, Hiring Partners, and other internal stakeholders to support lateral hiring while ensuring compliance with firm policies and processes.

  • Coordinate the full candidate lifecycle, including job postings, applicant tracking system maintenance, interview scheduling, candidate communications, feedback collection, and the preparation of offer materials and pre-arrival documentation.

  • Manage relationships and communications with search firms, candidates, attorneys, business professionals, and other third parties to deliver a responsive, high-quality candidate experience.

  • Own key recruiting operations, including interview logistics, background checks, references, preliminary conflict clearance, candidate expense reimbursements, agency agreements, invoices, and recruiting records.

  • Maintain accurate candidate pipelines and recruiting data, prepare reports and administrative materials, and support special projects and broader recruiting operations.

  • Conduct market research, track talent movements, support sourcing strategy, compile recruiting metrics, and help inform hiring decisions and search progress.

  • Produce timely, accurate work product, communicate effectively, meet deadlines, foster positive working relationships, and uphold firm policies and standards.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

  • At least 3+ years of legal recruiting experience in a law firm environment.

  • Demonstrated hands-on experience utilizing applicant tracking systems such as Workday, Greenhouse, iCIMS, LawCruit, or ViRecruit, along with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Outlook, virtual platforms such as Zoom or Teams, and search tools such as Pirical Legal Professionals, Leopard List, and LinkedIn Recruiter.

  • Strong judgment and discretion in handling confidential information, excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure, and flexibility to work occasional evening or weekend hours during peak recruiting periods.

  • Foundational knowledge of, or experience with, generative AI tools applied to high-volume recruitment workflow optimization is highly preferred.

  • Proven ability to manage highly sensitive, confidential client and candidate credentials with absolute integrity.

  • Superior written communication and public presentation abilities across all professional levels.

  • Ability to prioritize rapidly shifting tasks, stay organized under pressure, and meet strict deadlines.

  • Ability to occasionally log irregular evening or weekend hours during peak lateral hiring seasons.

The base annual pay range for this role is between $75,000-$90,000. The base pay to be offered will vary and depend on skills and qualifications, experience, and location.  A full range of medical, financial and/or other benefits dependent on the position will also be offered.
