Position Overview

As a contingent part-time employee at Manatt, you will work with a team of passionate and driven professionals. You will provide high-level subject matter and consulting expertise to our clients, with a focus on developing and implementing governmental strategies and advising on complex real estate, infrastructure, and capital transaction initiatives. This role is ideal for an accomplished leader with a deep background in organizational consulting, public-private partnerships, and strategic real estate advisory across public and private sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Provide specialized subject matter expertise to project work streams from initiation through execution, particularly in real estate, infrastructure, and strategic planning tied to public-sector engagement.

  • More than 15 years of leadership experience in corporate real estate, development, and capital structuring to deliver actionable insights that align with governmental strategy initiatives.

  • Leverage deep experience in stakeholder negotiation—including with federal entities to develop optimal service and business models for clients.

  • Lead and contribute to qualitative and quantitative analyses to address complex business, policy, and strategy challenges, including assessments of organizational models, market trends, and investment opportunities.

  • Advise clients on navigating real estate-related regulatory environments, infrastructure investment, and public-private development strategies. 

Qualifications

  • Proven subject matter expertise in consulting with clients on governmental strategy development and implementation, with particular strengths in real estate, infrastructure, and public-private partnerships.

  • Demonstrated success providing strategic and operational guidance to Fortune 500 corporations, institutional investors, and government entities across a variety of market conditions.

  • Exceptional communication and client relationship skills, honed through decades of executive-level leadership and advisory roles.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, as well as advanced modeling and investment analysis techniques.

Salary

The hourly rate for this role is between $375 - 500. The hourly rate to be offered will vary and depend on skills and qualifications, experience, location and will also take into account internal equity.  Additional medical, financial and/or other benefits will not be offered dependent on the position.
