The Opportunity

The Practice Analytics Manager leads and delivers strategic analytics initiatives that drive financial performance, operational insight, and data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role is responsible for developing advanced reporting, forecasting, and pricing analytics while partnering cross-functionally to enhance visibility into business performance and support firm growth.

Working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams, the Practice Analytics Manager plays a key role in operationalizing strategic priorities, including financial planning metrics, client segmentation, and cost efficiency. This position requires strong analytical expertise, a deep understanding of financial and operational drivers, and a proactive approach to leveraging data, automation, and AI-enabled solutions to improve business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with the Practice Management Directors to develop and administer industry-level financial reporting, including establishing consistent reporting cadence and performance tracking.

  • Perform client segmentation analysis and firm services tracking to monitor concentration risk and identify growth opportunities.

  • Partner with the Consultant Engagement Team to establish productivity baselines, define improvement metrics, and implement reporting and outcome tracking workflows.

  • Lead the Matter and Service Type Tagging initiative to improve data quality, reporting accuracy, and analytical insights.

  • Support pricing and realization analysis, including Alternative Fee Arrangements (AFAs) and other pricing models, to enhance profitability and competitiveness.

  • Collaborate on pipeline analytics, including probability-adjusted forecasting to improve revenue predictability.

  • Operationalize Business Plan metrics, ensuring consistent measurement, reporting, and alignment with strategic objectives.

  • Assist AI-enabled and automation initiatives to enhance financial reporting, forecasting, and pricing processes.

  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable analytics solutions and actionable insights.

  • Communicate key insights, trends, and performance metrics effectively to leadership and stakeholders.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in business analytics, financial analysis, revenue management, or a related field, preferably within a professional services environment.

  • Demonstrated experience building financial models, reporting frameworks, and performance tracking tools.

  • Experience with data visualization and analytics tools (e.g., Power BI or similar platforms).

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills with high attention to detail.

  • Experience working with large datasets and translating data into actionable insights.

  • Familiarity with pricing strategies, forecasting methodologies, and financial planning concepts preferred.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and present complex information clearly.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively across teams.

The base annual pay range for this role is between $165,000–$175,000. The base pay offered will vary depending on skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal equity. A full range of medical, financial, and other benefits will also be provided.
