We currently have an opportunity for a Financial Systems Senior Developer.  This individual will work as part of the Financial Systems team and will report to our Financial Systems Senior Manager.  The role will be responsible for technical administration of the firm’s financial systems as well as working with the system users to improve functionality and user experience. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintains the development, implementation, and administration of the firm’s financial systems including Aderant, Aderant SSRS, BigHand Business Intelligence (Iridium), BigHand Matter Pricing and Vena.

  • Ensures systems meet financial recordkeeping and reporting requirements.

  • Provides guidance, and technical expertise to stakeholders on system requirements and issues.

  • Works directly with key stakeholders and business partners to drive improvements in core financial processes such as close, planning, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.

  • Ensures project success by accurately assessing and establishing scope, resources, schedule, and risk mitigation plans.

  • Establishes best practices for financial system use and ensures practices are used throughout organization.

Technical Expertise Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience with major legal financial systems such as Aderant or Elite is required.

  • 5+ years of experience in SQL server environment and SQL programming is required.

  • Experience with other financial systems such as Emburse, Iridium, and budgeting applications is preferred.

  • BA/BS in Finance, Information Technology or a related major is preferred.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Must have the ability to collaborate with numerous cross functional teams is vital.

  • Ability to prioritize and multitask in a dynamic multinational environment.

  • Must have the ability to maintain highly confidential information.

  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.

The base annual pay range for this role is between $110,000-$120,000. The base pay to be offered will vary and depend on skills and qualifications, experience, location and will also take into account internal equity.  A full range of medical, financial and/or other benefits dependent on the position will also be offered.
