Catherine Yang
Catherine Yang is an associate in the firm’s San Francisco office.
Catherine focuses her practice on matters involving art, entertainment and intellectual property law. She advises clients across the creative, digital and technology sectors on transactional, regulatory and compliance issues.
Before joining Manatt, Catherine served as a summer associate with the Firm, where she supported attorneys on client matters spanning corporate, digital and technology, and commercial and intellectual property transactions. She also interned in-house at a fine arts auction house, where she assisted with contracts for property consignments, cross-border compliance and cultural property issues.
While in law school, Catherine gained additional experience as a law clerk supporting plaintiff-side tort litigation and as an intern with California Lawyers for the Arts, helping produce educational programming focused on current art law topics.
